Bio
::About the band:: DTG is a band based out of Menlo Park, consisting of five Menlo Atherton students. They have been together for three years, and in August of 2005, they released their first full-length Album, Beyond Chicken. After the release of the album, the former guitarist, Nick Lederer, moved to Berlin, Germany, and has been substituted by close friend to the band Derek King. The band's remaining member's, Will (Liam) Boogar, Steve (Steve-o) Kieninger, John Sorlie, and Noe Khalfa have remained together.
A Grab-bag of Influences: The influences of the different band members vary, giving their sound a unique blend of all genre's. Influences from Hendrix can be seen in the Lead Guitar on Dreamland, Sunrise, and Instrumental Song, The. Influences from Nirvana are evident in Dreamland, Pink Tangerine, and The Cottage. The unique bassist, John Sorlie, derives his influences from bass legends like Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tim Commerford of Rage Against the Machine, Duff McKagan of Guns N Roses, and Les Claypool of Primus, as seen in Dreamland, Sunrise, The Cottage, and Road of Life. The Influences of the Drummer, evident in the variety of drumming throughout Beyond Chicken, include Blink 182's Travis Barker, Art Blakey, Dave Grohl, and Chad Smith. The singing on the album derives its influences from Third Eye Blind, Counting Crows, Jack Johnson. The Harmonica played by singer Steve Kieninger derives most of its influence by Blues Traveler frontman John Popper. The end result to this grab-bag combination is a deep rhythm, accompanied by a Jazz-Rock beat and a head-bangers bass line; add in a couple of Hendrix/Zepplin/Floyd solo's and a singer with the heart of a 90's alternative band and you have one new age rock band.

Questions:
What are you, a Christian Band!?
The Nicknames date back to our former drummer, Ashkahn Jahromi. Dating back to a protest against his Freshman preacher English Teacher, Ms. Bogner, Ashkahn always wore an "I Am God" neckless, self-declaring himself God, with an Ego to match it. Close friend Will Boogar was given the title Holy Spirit, considered to be almost the same person in some respects as Jahromi. Singer Steve Kieninger was orignally given the title of Jesus, but after Nick Lederer threatened to become a self-declared Satan, Ashkahn bribed Nick into becoming Jesus, and changed Steve's title into its now present title of Moses. After the basics were sent down and it was declared that no 'satan' would exist (though many females, oddly, attempt to claim themselves as satan) John Sorlie was given title of Job, as it was both similar to his name and his personality (kind yet cursed). Lastly, Noe Khalfa was given title of Noah, due to the similarity in the two names and the fact that he now does God's(Ashkahn's) work (drummer). The band is not anti-religion in any sort; however, the title's act as commentary on organized religion in many ways.

Love you all / Mehdi
I listened to your works for the third time and what I like in them most is the quality of records.
'Robot Eggs' has got some new concept to speak up.
Is there any other tunes to be added soon?
Good luck / Mehdi
